Long Term Let, Pyrenees Orientales - Languedoc
Estagel offers village life at its best: great wine making, bustling local shops and a full calendar of traditional and social events. Our three storey, stone-built village house has a large roof terrace on a quiet, narrow street just behind the village square. There is a romantic four poster bed, large dining and sitting room, modern kitchen and shower, loads of storage space and a beautiful spiral staircase.
The property: L'Avenir is a traditional village house. The stone foundations are part of the ancient circle of houses built by the Catalans for defense. The ground floor has a marble and wood entrance hall leading to the spiral staircase and two large storage rooms. (These house the central heating and washing machine but the rooms are available to tenants to store bikes and beach gear for holidays or furniture etc. for longer term house-hunters.)

List Your French Property For Rent
Gold (Professional) Listing - £99.97
Includes: Description, No adverts, 8 Photos, Contact details & Website link with your preferred anchor text [?].Our Gold, Professional Listing package is the premium option currently available for listing your French property. Superb value at less than £100GBP a year, your property can appear on its own (ad-free) page with your descriptive text, eight good sized photographs and a link to your own website using link anchor text [?] of your choice, much better for your own search result rankings than a simple 'click here' type link. This option is perfect for someone with experience in letting out their property, who knows the benefits of additional photographs and who wants to direct visitors to their personal website via a link using 'search engine' friendly anchor text [?] of their choice.
Many sites offer listings that vanish among lines of similar looking and characterless links. When you advertise with us, your property is first listed on your regional page with a photograph, a brief description and a link that then takes the visitor to your property's page for further details and photos.
Your property page also features a contact section so enquiries come directly to you. Other sites may handle enquiries for you but we have found this only slows down the time it takes a potential tenant to establish contact with the property owner. Today, people want an informative response and they want it quickly. Having to wait while a third party handles an enquiry could easily lose you money.
Once you have listed your property don't forget to check out our fantastic Property Of The Week and Featured Property add-ons that are available to give your rental property in France maximum exposure.
As always, we are here to help & guide you should you have any questions or concerns.

Aquitaine
Aquitaine
By Alan Tyrrell co-founder of Let's Rent Property In France.com
Bordeaux is the capital of Aquitaine, and is a cosmopolitan, lively and interesting city, with beautiful old buildings and fabulous shops. It has been an important town for centuries, and was important during the Napoleonic wars, when cannons were shipped from forges all over the region, down the rivers to Bordeaux, where the battle ships were waiting to sail and enter the wars.
Throughout the surrounding area, and all the way along the Dordogne river are vineyards and it is recommended that you attend a wine tasting at one of the famous châteaux, while visiting. The whole region is littered with important wine regions. The smaller ones, like the dessert wine of Monbazillac near Bergerac, should not be overlooked.
As you go south the beaches near Biarritz host top-class surfing contests, which are incredible to watch. This huge and diverse region has a wealth of sights, cultures and cuisine. But dont miss the rolling hills, medieval châteaux, prehistoric caves and rivers of the Dordogne, as well as the pine-covered sandy terrain of the Landes - the largest forest in Europe - and the endless stretch of sandy beach and dramatic sea spanning the whole Atlantic coast of this region, and taking you right down to the Basque country and the Pyrénées-Atlantiques. There is skiing in the pyrenees during the winter, but this remote area is also beautiful in summer.

The Aquitaine Region.
My Favourite Place In France Is The Aquitaine.
by Enrico Nestler
For a true flavour of France, there is no better place to go on vacation than the Aquitaine region. This vast area of France encompasses everything that is French. Great wines and vineyards, the Pyrenees Mountains, wonderful sea coasts, historical towns and cities like Bordeaux, Biarritz, Perigueux and Agen.
Aquitaine is a land of water. With the longest beach in Europe, a multitude of healing hot springs, dozens of inland rivers and a string of large lakes, it is no surprise how this region got it name. But although many visitors are attracted to the area for its waters, surfing, swimming, water sports, therapeutic healing, boating or simply lazing on the beach - it is actually a myriad of different landscapes.

Short term property rentals & Gites in the Aquitaine
From the flat, sandy plains and pine forests of the Landes to the beautiful lagoon of the Bassin d'Arcachon... Aquitaine is immensely diverse.
Bordeaux is one of the best and most established wine growing regions in France, with brandy lovers visiting the town of Cognac.
Towards the Pyrenees a Spanish feel takes hold in the popular resorts of Bayonne and Biarritz and the valley of the Dordogne provides a sharp contrast.

Long term property rentals in the Lower-Normandy region
Formerly a French province, Normandy, is now divided into two regions bordering the English Channel: Lower-Normandy and Upper-Normandy and is reminiscent of a great landscape painting, with cattle grazing in the fields and traditional rustic wood-framed houses that contrast the nearby modern buildings.
Mont-Saint-Michel is situated, facing the Channel, at the Lower Normandy's western extremity. The abbey is built on solid granite, with a quaint little village at her base. Agriculture is mainly dairy, some fishing and apple. Lower Normandy is the home to the renowned Calvados brandy and also produces some superb ciders.
